The steel round bars sold by CamaSteel and sourced from one of our trusted suppliers are one of the most important plays in the machining industry due to their features of being corrosion resistant. They are typically used in the production of fasteners and machineries. Similar to other steel bars, steel round bars can be cut and machined into different tools. This is why steel round bars are most common in creating machine parts and automotive components.
Our quality and reliable source of steel products and solutions match domestic and foreign demands for varying steel resources. CamaSteel’s international background allows us to operate and provide steel solutions for countries beyond China crossing Southeast Asia, Middle East, Africa, and others. We have logistic integrity and have years of experience working with suppliers to provide steel round bars to diverse customization and processing to meet customer’s various needs. CamaSteel provides the best cost reduction and can obtain market analysis through experts in the industry taking advantage of the market trends and current value of steel round bars to provide quality and continued expertise in steel trading.
These steel round bars are offered in hot rolled or cold rolled forms. Hot rolled round bar is typically used for construction application where finish and precise dimensions are not a major concern. Cold rolled bar, however, is used for applications where more exact dimensions and a superior surface finish is necessary. Steel round bars are available in different materials including stainless steel, aluminum, alloy steel, brass, and so on.
Steel Round bars can be found in either hot rolled steel or cold rolled steel forms. There are fundamental differences that are necessary for purchasers to understand to weigh the benefits of each type for their individual use. Hot rolled steel is a process where the steel round bars will be rolled under extremely hot temperatures breaching the steel’s recrystallization temperature. This allows the steel to be easily shaped and formed. This is usually cheaper than cold rolled steel because there are typically no delays in the milling process. Cold rolled steel round bars, however, are further processed hot rolled steel bars. This process includes cooling the material at room temperature followed by temper rolling and or annealing. As a result, the steel round bars can be produced with more precise dimensions and with a wider range of possible surface finishes. The following advantages can be found: • Cold drawing • Turning which removes surface imperfections • Grinding which narrows the original size to tolerance range • Polishing enabling different end-use surface finishes
